Beautiful cinema! We watched the movie ‘Fallen Leaves’. Drinks are provided inside. Facilities well-attended. You can book the film and seats online if you wish. Easy paying steps are provided with fast check-out.
One of my favourite cinemas in London. Member-focused screenings, talks and events in a speak-easy style basement cinema with an affordable bar (for members!) They offer creative and exciting programming and their staff are super helpful and very passionate about cinema. Membership is also very affordable. Highly recommend.
Gorgeous cinema, no ads!!! Just trailers for upcoming programme. And there are pay what you can days and free days for those who perhaps can't and want to bring their families. Duty Manager obviously loves documentaries so we had a discussion after the screening. Membership is £20 for the year! Thought I had misheard but no, actually £20 a year! Affordable cinema in the middle of London. What's not to like!
The support areas are very pleasant and very well decorated. However, the cinema room (architecture, space between chairs, connection between chairs) is not prepared for the consumption of drinks and food without disturbing the people around it. The gap between rows of chairs should also be bigger to allow everyone a clearer view.
Good staff.
Fabulous little cinema. It looks like an art deco cinema from the 1930's, despite only opening in 2022.
There's a bar with loads of seating in cosy booths all around.
Cinema seats are comfy and wide.
The manager introduced the film to us at the start, which is a nice touch. You don't have to put up with the usual 20 minutes of adverts. Instead there were a few of their own trailers for their upcoming films, not just the latest releases. It's a nice personal touch.
Despite lots of notice to turn off our phones, a couple of people still managed not to heed that! Oh well...
One of my favorite place in London nowadays. It’s a new construction but the style is just so well thought. The colors and the lights are just enchanting, and the bar has some great selection of traditional Italian spirits that you can enjoy on the rocks. The selection of movies is great. Really recommend to pop in and check it out
Funky art deco basement cinema with a very cool vibe and interesting decor. Great staff who love cinema and give a wee chat before the movie. Delightful.
A beautiful Cinema venue that transports you back in time to the 1920s with it's Art deco architecture and decor, all replete with a fantastic bar. The toilets are outstanding! So much attention has been paid to every detail. It stands out from other independent cinemas because it has such a huge repertoire of screenings of all kinds of films from all genres, at very affordable prices. I recommend becoming a member as you will easily make the membership money back within 6 months with the exclusive offers, and discounted prices. Also, a great venue for the whole family as they have special screenings for kids on Saturday's. And if thst wasn't enough, how about a film every month voted for by the members. Yes@ This cinema really wants to cater to every request and whim of it's audience and members. I don't think there is another cinema in the world like this one. The Garden Cinema is a very special and one of a kind venue ❤️ 💙 💜 💖
